I love it when people try to make these deep philosophical arguments when they have no idea what they are talking about. It amuses me.

When you are in public, say a restaraunt and someone says something -really- funny do you laugh? A little? A titter? A bit? Enough so the people at the next table hear you? Enough so the whole restaraunt wants in on the joke?

I know some of you had previously said less than horrible things about McCain.

Vote for Mark Ritchie for Secretary of State. Mary Kiffmeyer has been horrible HORRIBLE HORRIBLE, she's doing everything in her power to keep voter turn out low. She's even talked about getting rid of one of the best things Minnesota has, same day registration. That's one of the things that makes Minnesota great. So even if you hate Minnesota (you know who you are) make sure it doesn't get any "worse". Kick out Mary. She's Satan spawn, and not the cute loveable kind, trust me on this.


So seriously take a few minutes on your way home from work and go vote. It's really important.

I'm posting this from my new computer! The screen is giant. Things look AMAZING Like OMG amazing.

I need to find a T1 to borrow if I ever have to do all these downloads/updates again. It's pretty painful. But I've got WoW on and up to date (and OMGWTFBBQ!!ONE! it looks spectacular, crisp, clean, moves quickly, no jerks, just nice and smooth.)

I have Firefox installed (I use Safari for personal browsing (LJ, music, t3e funneh etc) and Firefox for blogging stuff). I have Fire and Netflix Freak and xJournal, Gizmo, and a bunch of widgets. I had an issue last night with FileMaker Pro, will work on that again later, not a super top priority.

Need to download Ventrillo(CHECK!), Teamspeex(CHECK!), a program that will pull my iPod to the computer, and some games for when younger relatives get their hands on my toy.


Did I mention it looks AMAZING. And we had to drive to Ridgedale for it. :( Ridgedale's gone way WAY down hill. I hope I don't have to go there again for a long long time.

So my phone is totally no more. The data is unretrieveable. I'm hoping a full charge overnight ill help, but they said it wouldn't. I got a blackberry. It's not set up to work as a blackberry just a phone for now. Once I pay it off (in chunks equal to what the extra cost would be for the package) I'll decide if I want to go for it. I'll also likely go for it if I do get fellowship. It'll be really nice to have the option going forward plus having the planner/task/memo etc functions built right into the phone will be REALLY nice. And I got it very cheap.

BUT! The key thing here is I need your contact info. If you want me to ever contact me please leave a comment here with your phone numbers. I would really appreciate it. In the mean time please leave me a comment and I'll put you in there! (Now to track down the phone numbers I need for tomorrow.)

I was on the bus with a brittney wannabe. It was amusing.

Also why would you wear killer shoes, you know the ones that come to a very pokey point 3 inches in front of where the foot stops and have heels over 6 inches, and then wear torn up jeans that come down and you can't see the shoes at all. Women like that confuse me.

At least in the theaters. Went to see Clerks II today, a nice matinee, lots of fun, a good funny little flick. That's all I was going for. So I was sitting in there, enjoying it greatly. Laughing when it was funny. I've never been someone who's afraid to laugh when something is funny, don't care if other people are laughing, if they don't get the joke well, sucks for them.

About 3/4 of the way through the movie the fucking usher comes over and tells me to keep it down.

Was I talking on my cell phone? No.
Was I gabbing about my hoes coming over during the sappy parts? No.

Last fucking movie in a theater. Fuckers wouldn't let me laugh. Who the fuck went out and complained to the usher is what I want to know? OMG someone got a joke that I didn't, Kick her out! Oh noes! Someone is having fun! Can't have that!

I'm sick of people constantly saying, "Oh you knit, you must have lots of patience." The word has lost all meaning. These people must picture me sitting at home all night every night stitching away lonely and sad. HA!

I knit when I am on the bus, I knit while I'm at meetings, I knit on long car trips, I knit while I'm walking to catch the bus, I knit when everyone else around me is doing only one thing or nothing. I occasionally go to a SnB but not that often. That's the most dedicated my knitting gets. I don't sit at home for hours and hours knitting. Who on earth has time for that putzing around? I am still trying to find a way to knit while playing world of warcraft. But people insist on saying I'm patient. If I was patient I wouldn't be seriously considering stabbing my needle through your eye, but they are addi's and I don't want my yarn to end up purple after I get the blue dye over your blood so I'm just going to stick to making an icky face at you.

I have a couple times said things like, "Oh no! I don't have any! I couldn't just sit there like you and not do anything, I'd feel like I was wasting time." If they are going to be sneaky and bitchy, well I'm from minnesota too, I know how aggressive passive aggressive can be.

I arrived, they have internet in the lodge, but no phone service save the tops of the mountains. Which I know because we climbed up one today. Beautiful. Sunny and great weather here. Don't want to move but it's a nice vacation.
